Over the last two years Europartnerships has been delighted to be able to support several trade missions to the United Kingdom from North Rhine Westphalia. After winning tenders issued by NRW International, the state's trade promotion agency, missions have been formed from the following sectors:

• dental laboratories
• environmental technology
• renewable energy
• sustainable construction
• restoration of ancient monuments and historic buildings.

The most recent mission, in November 2010, brought 13 restoration companies to London for meetings with architects, property developers, specialist craftsmen and organisations such as the Historic Chapels Trust and the National Trust. In 2011 there will be a further mission of companies engaged in the sustainable construction sector to coincide with the Ecobuild 2011 Trade Fair, taking place at Earls Court, London in March. Europartnerships will be collaborating with the Chamber of Trades and Crafts Düsseldorf and Berlin consultants Ampros.
