Europartnerships wins German federal government tender for UK Marketing Assistance Programme 2009
Europartnerships is delighted to have been selected once again by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology (BMWi) as project managers for the UK Marketing Assistance Programme (VHP) for 2009. This follows the highly successful delivery of the 2008 programme, through which 14 East German companies have been helped to establish their footing in the UK market.
The Trade Council of Iceland and Europartnerships launch the third UTSTIM Export Development Programme
For the third year running, Europartnerships will work with the Trade Council to deliver their ‘flagship’ export development programme for Icelandic exporting companies. Designed to follow on from the long established UH programme for beginners in export, the 2008/2009 UTSTIM programme supports participants as they prepare for the search, selection and effective management of agents and distributors, as well as participation in an export project focusing on a selected overseas market. This year 18 companies are taking part.
Europartnerships’ Export Strategy Workshops
As demand for export training for small and medium sized companies (SMEs) grows, Europartnerships is pleased to be working in partnership with market leaders and training specialists Learning Impact of Birmingham, UK, to deliver interactive strategy programmes for exporters. The latest group to benefit are a group of 20 SME owners/managers in Reykjavik, in a two-day workshop held in November 2008, sponsored by the Trade Council of Iceland as part of their 2008/9 UTSTIM Programme.
