Major Finnish manufacturer of playground equipment, Lappset had a UK distributor but felt that the market could probably justify other distributors to cover the country.
An initial project to assess the market, including the different segments, was followed by producing a long list of potential distributors. We then made contact with an agreed shortlist, following which we provided feedback, including direct contact with several interested parties for Lappset to negotiate with.
As an additional project, we produced a Recommended Marketing Strategy for Lappset. In addition to the use of more distributors, this included product diversification and developing brand awareness, primarily through online marketing.
