Leading Norwegian company Servi had identified the UK as a market offering considerable potential, but needed a greater understanding of where to focus its efforts. Initially, we looked at four UK sectors that we were felt to be of interest – Oil and Gas, Marine, Heavy Industry and Aquaculture. There was specific interest in the Aquaculture market and so we undertook further research to identify the major players in this sector, mainly based in Scotland. We then made initial contact with these companies to assess interest in Servi’s offering, but the combination of Brexit and Covid 19 took hold in 2020 and the project was put on hold. It is intended that it will be renewed in 2021/2 as business returns to more normal conditions.
